Personality

On a star that'd dim its glow far too often, Kasumi shines as a soft beacon in the dark. Slightly anxious at first, she'd look to treat any new faces with warmth and respect. Though she's been known to tease playfully at those she'd warm up to.

Backstory

Born to a pair of sea-crossed lovers, Kasumi's early beginnings of a caring family would be halted far too soon. Gyr Abania taken as well by the Empire. Fleeing to the Shroud, she'd befall more enemies of her kind, and befriend her savior: a Miqo'te wielding a katana. They'd offer her the chance to study the blade, but Kasumi's heart was drawn to mending rather than breaking. The samurai would instead watch over her in her training in Gridania. As she'd grow her talents, so did their bonds as sisters: her Family.

Upon finishing her training at the Conjurer's guild, she'd travel East with the samurai. Her sensei's new dojo required a healer, and so her first tenure began. Between healing new recruits learning the hard way, Kasumi would learn many things herself about this strange group of samurai. Their techniques, even stranger. Never holding a blade herself, she'd find a pathway to improve her healing: from within.These days, however, the dojo seems to be looking to expand. And so Kasumi would be tasked with traveling through Eorzea. Just a little more prepared this time!
